Thai Mekong Information

Tucked into a quiet plaza at Thai Mekong, Thai Mekong feels like one of those neighborhood spots you almost want to keep to yourself. The location isn’t flashy, but once you step inside, the warm lighting, soft Thai décor, and the faint aroma of lemongrass and basil immediately set the tone for a relaxed, satisfying meal.

The menu leans heavily into classic Thai comfort food, and it does so with confidence. Dishes like pad Thai and green curry are staples, but what stands out is how balanced everything tastes. The pad Thai, for example, hits that perfect mix of sweet, tangy, and savory without leaning too far in any direction, while the green curry brings a rich coconut base with just enough spice to keep things interesting. Spice levels are customizable, which is always a plus, especially if you’re dining with a group that has different tolerances.

One of the more memorable dishes during my visit was the drunken noodles. The wide rice noodles were cooked just right-soft but not mushy-and tossed with fresh vegetables and a bold, slightly smoky sauce. It’s the kind of dish that keeps you going back for one more bite even when you’re already full. Portions across the menu are generous, making it easy to share or take leftovers home.

Service here tends to be friendly and attentive without being overbearing. On a moderately busy evening, food arrived at a steady pace, and staff were quick to check in without interrupting the flow of the meal. It’s clear they’re used to serving regulars, and that familiarity adds to the overall comfort of the place.

From what I’ve seen in local reviews and my own experience, consistency is one of Thai Mekong’s strengths. While it may not have the upscale presentation of some big-city Thai restaurants, it delivers where it matters most-flavor, portion size, and a welcoming atmosphere. If there’s any limitation, it’s that the dining area can feel a bit compact during peak hours, but that’s also part of its charm as a community favorite.

For anyone in Graham looking for a reliable Thai restaurant with a solid menu and a laid-back vibe, this spot fits the bill without trying too hard.

What People's Say About Place

Pretty good Thai! It’s not the BEST, but it’s good and it’s close to home. I’ve mostly ordered curry to go, but ate in for the first time and tried a Rama dish. I got level 3 spicy, I only had one bite that tasted spicy and there wasn’t much chicken in it. But it was tasty and just what I wanted…noodles in peanut sauce.

I decided to come here today after living in Graham for a long time, and I am so upset that I didn’t know about this place sooner. It is the best food in Graham and possibly the best food I’ve ever had in my life. The flavor is so good that I learned how to set up a Google account and leave a review specifically for this…which I’ve never done in my life. I just want to say that it was great and the chicken lettuce wrap is an 11 out of 10. The staff is very nice as well!

VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE HERE!! #1 They are extremely nice and great customer service, professionalism, and kindness. All three of which go a long way these days. #2 Pick up Orders are usually always ready by the time you arrive. When they aren't, don't worry, they will likely be ready soon. :) THAI MEKONG is a reliable little restaurant that serves delicious food with a smile, good vibes, and great atmosphere!! Thank you for reading. Hope everyone has a wonderful day and a Happy New Year!

First time here, very good! Very nice people. Excellent customer service and super friendly! We ordered: -BBQ SHORT RIBS -BBQ CHICKEN -CHICKEN GARLIC NOODLE (Chefs favorite) -Chicken Pad Thai (5 star spicy) Very delicious and good amount of portion you get. My kids loved the bbq. & the garlic noodle was something different I wanted to try and the parmasean that was on top was bomb!!! I finished the whole plate. Also my husband ate all his pad thai! Although he did say 5 stars was not that spicy Excellent. Everytime we drove by it looked like it was always close because the door is black and so is the windows. And we never see any cars. It was just my family in the restaurant but there was lots of pickup orders we saw come in. So other than just maybe redoing the outside lol otherwise 10/10 recommend :)

I took my family here for dinner. It was my wife’s turn to pick the place and we came here. What a perfect choice. We ate until we were stuffed and still had plenty to take home. The flavors of all the dishes was to die for. The entire family agreed that this was the best meal we’ve had on our family night out trips. We will certainly be back again. We had garlic noodles, gyoza, two types of soups, garlic pork and rice. So, so good.

This was our first time here. Wanted to try something new and help support locally owned businesses as well. We ordered 4 different meals, and all were great. I wanted Spicy Papya Salad, and they delivered. My lips burned sooooo good Would definitely recommend it.

Restaurant was opened on Memorial Day. Cute restaurant, clean and well maintained restaurant. Service is quick and friendly 5/5. The staff served our table gave us recommendations and suggestions. Food was good. Pan fried chicken noodles was the best of all. Panang curry was delicious . Pad thai was average, Red curry noodles was okay but could have been better, but still was fresh and good in quantity will definitely visit again when visiting Rainier. Food is worth the price .

The food here is amazing!! Hands down one of the best restaurants in Puyallup!! I ordered the salmon, golden fried prawn, bbq beef short rib, & chicken noodle soup. Everything was so delicious. My favorite were the prawns, but all of it was so well made. Thai Mekong- my new favorite place!!!
